Here is da Capitol Building where all da important decisions get made.

This Senate an House o' Representatives stuff is so confusing.
Jus keep it simple : VOTE FOR BRY !!! Hee hee

There is a huge water feature around da Capital called a "Reflecting Pool".
It is meant to symbolize the Pacific Ocean. It used to be filled with fish.
Now all da fishies is gone, much like in our Pacific Ocean.
"Mama, where did all da fishies go ???"

DOG BLESS AMERICA !!!

Here is a statue of Father Damien.
He lived with, and helped da Lepers on Molokai,
and eventually lost his life to Leprosy, as well.
He was a very noble & righteous dude.

This is a Liberty Bell given to da State of Hawaii by...hmmm. I forget who.
I better go back to Hawaiian History 101.

The Capital has a large grassy area right in da middle
of all da Downtown Hi-Rise office Buildings.
I need to check dis out thoroughly !

Here is a Statue of Queen Lili'uokalani.
When Hawaii was annexed to the US in 1898, Queen Lili'uokalani had to give up her throne.
King Kalakaua was her brother. Many people visit her and offer Hawaiian Leis.

These are da LARGE Banyan Trees that grow on da grounds of Iolani Palace.
The roots actually come down from da branches making strange prehistoric-looking trees.

Lookie, Mama ! I hiding in da Banyans !!!

Here is Iolani Palace. It was where King Kalakaua & Queen Lili'uokalani lived.
During da time of da Monarchy, the Palace was da "HIP" Place to be in the Kingdom of Hawai'i !!
I wonder if Queen Lili'uokalani woulda invited me ???

Here I am in front of Iolani Palace.
They began restoring it in in da 1970's and it is a cool-looking building right
in da center of downtown Honolulu.

Right next to da Palace is da Iolani Barracks.
They were used to house da Guards of da Royal Palace & Royal Tomb.
It is made all of Coral Blocks, and designed to look like a Midieval Castle.
An I AM DA KING OF DA CASTLE !!!

There are many trees surrounding da Palace, some are over a hundred years old !!

Jus cruzin' in a tree !!

Dis is da Iolani Bandstand.
I jus sittin here waitin fo da Royal Hawaiian Band to come play fo me.
Man, dis sun is HOT !!
