Recently, I picked up the hobby of 'Yakin.
It is good fun and now I can say I am a genuine "Salty Dawg".
SAFETY FIRST !!! As you can tell, I'm not too crazy about da life vest Mommy makes me wear.
"Hey Mama, I know how to swim just fine, Thank You !!".
But she did have to make several adjustments to make it small enough to fit me just perfect,
so I guess I'll make her happy and wear it .
Dis is da box where we keep all my kayaking gear.
It was going to be my toy box, but it is too small for that !
Hey Boomiez, wanna come in and play with me ??
Here I am ready to head out into the Great Pacific Ocean.
My boat is a 1 man, 1 woman, 1 Yorkie Kayak.
You can peddle it or paddle it. It is really COOL !!
Mom named it
after ME, of course !!
O.K. Mommy and Daddy. I got all the gear stowed. ANCHORS AWAY !!!
Living in Hawaii, we have some beautiful scenery.
Dis mountain is actually a stink volcano (oops ! I mean a EXTINCT volcano).
It is called Koko Crater.
This is where da bay ends and the GREAT BIG Pacific Ocean begins !!
Here is one of the most famous landmarks in Hawaii, Diamond Head Crater.
It looks a little different from this angle. No, I didn't put the picture in backwards,
this is how it looks from da other side !!
The water is as beautiful as anything I have ever seen. Even far out,
you can see all the way to da bottom on a clear day.
It is magnificent !
"Hey Daddy ! How you doing back there ? Need me to drive ??"

My Hawaiian Buddies coming over to say "ALOHA !!"
They put on a great show. Here they are doing a "Dolphin Hula" for us !
"Mommy, can I go try that, it looks like fun !!"

Oouuu... and here is something I have never seen before.
Those are the strangest looking Yorkies I ever saw. But they sure can swim good !
And they aren't even wearing LIFE VESTS.

Back on dry land. That sure was a fun day !
