My Auntie Betty taught me this saying ! My Brothers HATE it !!

O.k. O.k., I know I can't hog up ALL the pages (even tho this is MY website !) I have two really cool Big Brothers, so I decided to dedicate this page to them.

BONGO
First is my oldest brother Bongo. I call him "da Bongz". He is a purebred Black Lab that was born on July 16, 1997. I like to tease him that he is one OLD FUT, but he really still acts like a puppy (jus like me !) He loves to play fetch and SUNBATHE -- yes, he is da George Hamilton of Labradors. Mommy says all that laying out in da scorching hot sun has fried his brain, he really is a little bit mental !! He has a nice tan tummy though, and I think he is glad he lives in Paradise !

BOOMER
My other big (and I do mean BIG) brother is Boomer --da Boomiez. He is also a purebred Black Lab, even though he looks quite different from Bongo. He is a porky little guy, weighing in at over 100 lbs., but da SWEETEST pup you will ever meet - he doesn't have a mean bone in his body. Boomer was born on March 29, 2000. As you can probably guess, his favorite hobby is EATING !! Boomer came from a very good breeder who we call Gwama Wishell.

UPDATE ! - Boomer's Doggie Diet
Boomer had his yearly exam on June 17, 2006, and weighed in at a whopping 115 pounds !
The Dr. say he need to get down around 100, or even 95 lbs. He don't even eat dat much, only a little more den Bongo, so I guess he jus need more exercise. I have started walkin' him every morning. He is now enrolled in da "Brighton Boot Camp" an I am one tuff little Drill Sergeant, let me tell you !! He was havin' a hard time at first, but now, he seem to be able to handle much better.

A LITTLE KNOWN BOOMER FACT:
Boomer did not get his name because of his enormous size. Mommy actually picked that name before she got him. Bongo liked to fetch and fetch and fetch all day long - throw da ball, he bring it back, throw it again, he come back (like a Boomerang). Mommy assumed all Black Labs must love to fetch so she said her next Black Lab will be named Boomerang - or "Boomer" for short. Well, as it turned out, Boomerang did not like to fetch, could care less about bringing anything back at all. Luckily he "grew" into his name by being a BIG BOY, and we think da name BOOMER fits him quite well !!!

A LITTLE KNOWN BONGO FACT:
Bongo prefers Speedos to Surf Trunks when sunbathing. He likes to get the most out of his tanning experience, and surf trunks "just cover too dang much". He has many Speedos in assorted colors. We would have included photos, but found them too revealing for this site.

Here I am trying to see what's so great about "Hawaiian Sun". It's just too hot for me Bongo, you Mental Dawg !

Is that FAT or FUR ???
Boomiez coat is SO THICK that it takes a very long time for him to get soaked to the skin, and an even longer time for him to dry. As a result of his thick coat, he doesn't care too much for Hawaii's warm weather and probably dreams of being at the South Pole running around with da penguins ! But he makes the best of it, and if there is a puddle on the ground, you will see him there, cooling off ! Poor Big Guy !!

AMERICAN EXPRESS OR VISA ??
Some Labs know what's accepted
I find dis little story to be "priceless" : Boomer has a habit at dinner time, he has a blue squeaky toy that he will carry around in his mouth until Mommy feeds him. We started calling it his "American Express Card". We pour his food in his dish, and he hands Mommy his American Express !!! Sometimes we go out to feed him, and he doesn't have it, so we say "We accept American Express, Boomiez, if you'd like to charge your dinner tonight !" And he goes and gets the blue squeaky toy to give to us ! Recently, he acquired a green Kong toy, and we call that his VISA. Sometimes we tease him when he brings the AMEX and say "Sorry Boomiez, we don't accept AMEX, but we do take VISA". He will go get da green Kong and bring it to us instead !! He is one Financially Smart Labrador !!

"Hey Boomiez, do you mind if I borrow your AMEX?"

LABS ARE NOT ALWAYS NICE AND SWEET
Sometimes, my dorky brothers like to gang up and play a joke on me. Here, I was walking around all day with a "KICK ME" sign that they secretly stuck on my rear end. (If you look carefully, you will see Boomiez in the corner laughing at me.) What meanies !!
